London - (Anna Chapman News): Murdered in his bath and then 'stufffed inside a large sports bag' is how police have described it.

This morning the Pimlico flat of a dead MI6 officier was under tight wraps amid fears of a potential Establishment cover-up.

The grim find follows ten days of searches after the spy had been listed as missing at nearby MI6 HQ in Vauxhall Cross.

Speculation about possible motives includes links to the ongoing furor about WMD expert Dr David Kelly's 'suicide' cover-up and the busted Anna Chapman Russian spy ring.

The unnamed official had worked at the GCHQ government listening post in Cheltenham prior to secondment to London.

His death is being probed by Murder Squad and anti-terror police who today let slip that they found his mobile phone and a dozen SIM cards laid out carefully in the flat.

Media reports in June had noted that the Anna Chapman spy ring busted in the USA may have been discovered following joint US-UK telecoms surveillance.

The espionage trail then hit a blank amid reports that a second, much larger Russian ring was operating in London.

KGB turncoat Alexander Litvinenko's Plutonium-210 death in 2007 remains officially 'unsolved'.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
