Look after your dog

With record numbers of dogs being impounded, and rocketing kennel costs - Boris Johnson has decided he will meet London's recycling targets by bringing dog onto the capital's menu for the first time.

Reception for the Korean delicacy has been mixed with opinions ranging from 'inhuman' in Dagenham to 'deep fried with spring onion' in Soho.

However, Johnson defended his decision saying whilst Labrador was his favorite, Staffordshire was plentiful and delicious with mint sauce.

"Why pay through the nose for New Zealand lamb cutlets when there is protein often wagging on the doorstep. I am determined we can reduce our carbon footprint here."

Celebrity chefs have been slower to show their support. Delia Smith was busy at Waitrose and Gordon Ramsey was being held with Rick Stein at Truro police station when we called. The RSPCA did not return our calls.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
