Westchester, New York . . . When police were called to the local dog park to deal with a bite, they assumed that a dog had done the biting. No way! Man's best friends were totally innocent. Believe it or not, it was a man who had bitten another man. Yikes!
Spoof reporter Gail Farrelly, who lives nearby and understands dog talk, rushed to the park to interview several of the dogs. Farrelly collected and interpreted a number of responses from the dogs (who wish to remain anonymous). Here's some of what they barked:
- "You're not safe anyplace these days."
- "This place is going to the dogs."
- "It's a disgrace. You can't take these dog owners anywhere."
The dogs agreed unanimously that they'd like to make a recommendation to the judge when the case comes to trial. They believe that the perp should be sent to anger management classes. Just like Sean Penn.
