Labour sue The Spoof for stealing their manifesto

Funny story written by bubblyian

Wednesday, 21 April 2010

In a coup for Spoof writers, this undercover reporter has heard that the Labour Party is planning on court action as a result of writers obtaining leaked documents pertaining to Labour Party proposals after the election.

Spoof reporters have recently published numerous stories purporting to be Labour Party proposals and advertising them as 'fictitious' when in fact they are all true.

A spokeswoman complained to this reporter, "We don't know where they got them from, but they are uncannily close to our plans for the future and we are concerned that there is a mole in our policy department who is passing this information to the writers. We are considering Court action against The Spoof's writers to obtain the details of their informant."

This reporter refused to reveal details of his sources or whether they would launch a counter-claim against the Labour Party for pinching his ideas.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
