Emergency services have said that they were 'amazed' to have found a survivor in the wreckage following the British economic earthquake. Amongst the rubble in Downing Street rescuers found a man called Gordon still breathing. "We were shocked. He's been under the rubble for months. He ought to have been crushed by now" said one rescuer.
Gordon is thought to live in the epicentre of the quake, making his continued survival even more of a miracle. Britain has suffered a major economic quake similar to the 'big one' of '29. Experts fear that millions will suffer.
Gordon is not safe yet, however, as an election aftershock is expected in the next few months. It is highly unlikely that Gordon will be able to survive. His world will surely collapse all around him.
