Ex-formula one racing boss Eddie Jordan has today denied that he is the father of the model with whom he shares a name.
Mr Jordan issued a statement via his PR company, Sharp and Mendacious Associates, at noon today saying: "I have been forced to refute malicious suggestions that the model is my daughter.
"Despite the striking similarity between us, I have never even met Katie's mum however once meet the lady herself and had an interesting and profound discussion with her about Uganda, if I recall."
Mr Jordan was speaking at the launch of The EJ Hair Collection (available in 27 attractive styles and 45 sexy colours).
The Formula One paddock at last week's Brazilian grand prix was buzzing with the rumours after the it was pointed out that they are both tiny, have dire dress sense, talk incessant bollocks and wear lots of different hairpieces.
A spokesperson for the model - real name Katie 'name your' Price - said later: "Kate gets thousands of people every week who claim to have all sorts of things with her and many of them actually haven't. She is not related to Eddie as far as she knows and, anyway, he looks like an older version of her ex Pete so she probably wouldn't."
