A Zoo in Scunthorpe has opened to poor reviews - mainly due to the shite animals that the owners have assembled.
Zookeeper Mike Patterson somehow or other thought it would be great idea to fill his enclosures with a crow, a diseased cat and what looks like a stick insect.
His main attraction is 'Tropical Scunthorpe' which includes animals native to the area. Visitors can see up close a terrier dog, a bunch of tadpoles stuck on the end of a stick and the legendary 'Scunthorpe Beast' - which looks uncannily like the same terrier dog but with some feathers glued to his sides.
"I know we're not Sea World or London Zoo or any of those fancy places, but Scunthorpe Zoo offers other kinds of attractions. We recommend our visitors to use their imaginations!", said Zookeeper Patterson.
