It has finally been officially verified by academics and researchers from Fluffborough University that seven is not really a lucky number. In fact, no number is any luckier than any other number, despite Lene Lovitch having a 1970's hit with 'My Lucky Number's One'
It isn't.
Whilst numbers are specific, they are also random. They can be used to quantify stuff and give a sense of perspective, but they can also be extremely misleading. The number seven is no different to any other number in this respect. No better, no worse. Nor is thirteen a particularly unlucky number, no more than, say, number three, or seventy-eight.
It's surprising that everything in the world is based on numbers, especially so when 98% of us admit to having been shit at maths at school.
More when we manage to crunch the numbers.
