The first four Michael Jackson O2 Arena shows have been put back from July of this year until at least early next year, because, according to insiders the finishing touches to the extravaganza will not be in place in time. Jackson's people said that they wanted all of the shows to be of an equal standard.
Scant consolation though for fans who have already paid for accommodation, transport, tickets, and booked time off their jobs in order to be able to attend the event that will not happen until later, if at all.
Some critics expressed doubts from the very start that these projected shows would ever take place. Many believed that Jackson and his people would take the money and run without the man of plastic ever putting in an appearance.
Subsequent events, such as this postponement, appear to add a certain weight to such theories. Many people regard the performer and his cohorts as nothing more than a bunch of con artists.
More as we get it.
