The giant frog which appeared alongside Prince Charles and sons Wills and Harry in a wacky, off the wall, save the rainforest internet broadcast was a reluctant participant according to Royal insiders.
The broadcast, which also featured Mork, the one-time alien who played Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire, Indiana Jones, who played James Bond's son in Star Wars, and Kermit, who is not a real frog, was aired for the first time yesterday on tinternet.com.
The gist of the segment was to draw attention to the rapidly diminishing rain forests of the world, which are being ruthlessly cut down due to ever increasing demand for sticks and garden fences.
But the frog wasn't happy, as a make-up artist told us:
"He was embarrassed by appearing alongside such a bunch of clowns. If you watch the footage you can clearly see that he's trying to escape. We had to give him £10k and a bucket of dragonflies to eat to persuade him to go through with it."
More as we get it.
