The Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, is this afternoon "very embarrassed" over her involvement in a row over films that have been deemed to be of a Pornographic nature, it has been reported.
It's alleged that Ms Smith's husband, Richard Timney, viewed two adult films at their Worcestershire home, then claimed for them on her expenses.
The two films, which cost £5 each, were viewed on 6 and 8 April 2008 at Smith's constituency home in Redditch.
The claim was said to include two viewings of the film Stab Me In The Back - at £3.75 each - and an additional £3.50 to watch the film Shove It Up.
Cor blimey!
Mr Timney apologised for what he described as his "mistake", and vowed that Ms Smith would repay any monies received from the claim.
A livid Ms Smith is known to have given Timney 'a real ear-bashing' for his trouble.
I would like to make it clear that, thankfully, Ms Smith did not appear in either of the saucy offerings.
