In a bid to improve ratings, Spike Milligan is being resurrected to star in a revamped "Prime Minister's Question-Time".
The new show's catch-phrase will be "What are we goin' to to now? What are we goin' to to now?"
Since it slipped below "Big Brother" in weekly ratings, the reality programme's current host, Gordie Brown, was heavily criticised for not following the script nor dealing with the important topics of the day.
"He was fudging the issues by making references to what President Obama is doing instead of dealing with the issues in front of him." said an opposition spokesperson. "And he is so boring, everyone was falling asleep. The whole of the LibDem bench were snoring away."
"Spike will generate a new energy into the show with his Gooning around, off the wall ad-libs and inability to keep a straight face."
Spike will open on Tuesday with the immortal words, "I thought I'd begin by reading a poem by Shakespeare, but then I thought, why should I? He never reads any of mine."
