Lord Blair the wanted War Criminal who mysteriously disappeared in June 2007 has been spotted in a Sainsburys supermarket in Scunthorpe.

A member of the public, Mrs Edith Vole reported seeing the elusive Lord in a Sainsburys store.

The eagle eyed grandmother immediately informed Scotland Yard's Special Branch which is treating the sighting seriously.

"He bought 2 loaves of bread,a Kit-Kat and a bottle of Chardonnay" continued Mrs Vole excitedly."He kept looking around all the time as if he was being followed, he looked real shifty to me" she said.

"I always thought he would be a Sainsburys shopper she added, "He's got expensive tastes so I couldn't see him shopping at Tescos".

"I thought he was a tramp at first but when I heard him ask the checkout girl for his change I immediately recognised his voice, you cant mistake his voice can you?"

Lord Blair was reportedly wearing a thick beard, glasses and had long hair, which police believe was a wig.

Blair has reportedly 'gone to ground' since 2007 and several sightings have been reported in various parts of the world including South Africa, the Middle East and during the summer months sightings were reported of him in Tuscany.

Special Branch has mobilised a crack team of detectives who are combing the Scunthorpe area and setting up roadblocks in an effort to capture the elusive Lord.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
