Simon Coweel

Disgraced former Mirror Editor and TV talent show judge Piers Morgan has been appointed as editor for the new daily newspaper, The Spoof.

Morgan, 45, was sacked from the mirror over claims pictures published in the paper were fake, and will take up his role on Monday.

The Spoof paper will be distributed to at least 3 houses every day and is usually read by grandparents.

When asked what he has planned for the paper morgan said "loads of stuff about hearing aids and stair lifts, we have even contacted Doris Stokes to see if she can put us in touch with Thora Hird for an exclusive".

When notified of the appointment Morgan's fellow judge on tv show "Where the Hell is Britain's talent" Simon Cowell stated " Rubbish".

We tried to reach other Judge Amanda Holden but she just couldn't be arsed to Answer the phone.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
