Why did it bother crossing the road?

Shrewsbury Town Spoof writer Trevor IN SEINE scored five goals and assisted in two others in a magnificent 7-0 away win against table-topping Wycombe Wanderers in the Johnstone Paint Trophy at Adams Park last night.

IN SEINE powered in a header and scored from close range before crossing for Kevin McIntyre to make it 3-0.

Shane Cansdell-Sherriff extended Shrewsbury's lead with an exquisite chip, before the insane local lad completed his hat-trick with another header.

The woeful bore then crashed home a volley and then drilled in a shot to take his tally to five and complete The Chairboys' misery, and take the Shrews through to the next round of this dull and totally uninteresting competition, which serves primarily to clog-up already-crammed fixture lists, and to potentially add to the smaller clubs' mounting injury problems.

IN SEINE, who is notorious on for 'cracking' terrible jokes, and making awful puns, didn't waste the opportunity last night either, delivering several notable 'Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?' questions, and this, late on:

"Wycombe Wanderers? They get on my Wyc!"

Nobody laughed, as is normal.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
