Harriet's Non-Racist Races

The British government's cull of white British males intensified this week, when the Minister for Women and Equality announced that only women and ethnic groups would be allowed to represent Great Britain in the London Olympics.

Even though women and non-white males have won many medals in past games, Harriet Harman expressed the view that white British males were still gaining more medals, relative to other groups.

She went on to explain that positive discrimination was the only politically correct solution to the dominance of white male athletes.

A spokesperson for The Association of British Women Athletes expressed delight that males were being banned from the competition because they traditionally gained more medals.

Ethnic groups were also delighted at Ms Harman's non-racist policies.

Some groups had suggested that an outright ban of white British male athletes was a tad severe and said that a compromise, such as breaking runner's legs or swimmer's arms would be sufficient to give Harman's politically correct groups the equality they deserved.

No representatives of the outlawed White British Athlete's Association would speak out for fear of being imprisoned for racist crimes, by Harman's 'Thought Police'.

However, a source close to the banned group expressed disappointment that their members would not be able to compete in the 2012 games because of all the hard training they had put in.

The Minister suggested that white male athletes would be better served by staying at home during the Olympics so that they could carry out more suitable domestic duties for their wives and partners.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
