Some words, yesterday...........

Mark Lowton, sainted editor and head-honcho of well regarded spoof website, TheSpoof.com is to make history, with a new word in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Bargainous, sharing roots with many words is to be used to describe land-scapes of cheap, but quality products.

Shops such as Woolworths, Wilkinson's, and TJ Hughes are to have the word added to their advertising campaigns, whilst David Dickinson, Orange faced TV host is to use it in his programmes, as a replacement for the over-used and rather cliched saying 'Cheap as Chips!'

Doctor Johnson, 299 year old inventor of the Dictionary, and well-known dead man said: 'This is just great. Now my work is even more out of date'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
