The British Anagram Society today issued a tumult aim (ultimatum) to the country's sorted stress crow (crossword setters) to stop taking anagrams so cop yell met (completely) for granted.
Their know as poems (spokeswoman) explains;
"We feel that anagrams are the most bad use (abused) form of written leg shin (English) by crossword setters hog hut tour (throughout) the world. We demand that they are taken more use rosily (seriously), rather than as fillers for setters who have fifty lucid (difficulty) otherwise filling clues.
"Using the shin egg links (King's English), it is so simple to devise clues that are witty, tart in engine (entertaining) and lead caution (educational)."
