Restaurant entrepreneur, Alexander Tipless, has opened the first "Your home cooked" restaurant in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This innovative idea allows customers to take their own food and drink to the eatery and rent the table.
"We supply the tables, chairs, linen, cutlery and glasses." said a delighted Alexander. "I came up with the idea after several complaints about the food at another of my restaurants. One customer said that he would rather eat at home. I don't need to employ a chef, just one washer upper and two waitresses."
So what does it cost? "Just £7.50 per head, payable when you enter." said Alexander. "The only complaint so far was from a lady who booked a table for ten people and four did not turn up. Mind you, looking at the food she had brought in I was not too surprised!"
