Blackpool Pleasure Beach has unveiled the new ride that it believes will take it back to the top of the UK's theme parks again.
The DNA-a-skelter is a new concept in fairground entertainment that's sure to shake up the market. A spokesman for the operators told The Spoof:
"To tell the truth it's just a normal helter-skelter but we're desperate so we've stuck DNA in front of it just to jazz it up a bit"
Thorpe Park is said to be looking to get a new even bigger DNA-a-skelter and Alton Towers is thinking of closing down as a result of the development.
A 'Towers' insider told us:
"We've been done up by Blackpool good and proper. Nobody's gonna come here any more and to be honest I think we'll go to the wall this summer"
Representatives from the Disney organisation are believed to have visited Blackpool incognito to check out the sensation.
"This could mean the end for Disneyland" commented Walt Disney Jnr.
