Controversy at the Palace of Westminster as the unveiling of a new bronze statue of Margaret Thatcher is due today.
Opinion on Maggie's legacy leaves people divided up and down the country and she has sparked debates in every pub and social club the length and breadth of the land.
Do you subscribe to the view that 'Maggie was a force for evil in Britain and that she divided the country into the haves and have nots?'
Or do you take the contrary stance and argue that, 'she was an uncaring monster who did nothing but flog off the country's crown jewels in the pursuit of an uncaring capitalist dream?' It's a tough call.
However Major General (Retired), Sir Pompous Arse, told The Spoof:
"Maggie was a diamond and, in particular, I myself owe my phenomenal wealth to her encouraging me to run rough-shod over the widow and orphan, advising me to stop at nothing in my relentless quest for filthy lucre"
