The Palace has reacted angrily to allegations that the Duchess of Sussex has accepted a role in online TV company Netflix’s new series “Shits”, due to be released later in 2020.
The series centres around a London law firm whose matriarchal and domineering CEO has political influence all over the world, and even controls the British prime minister. An ex-soldier who cheated at his school exams by getting help from others, gets a job at the firm even though he has no qualifications as a lawyer, and has to conceal this fact from the partners. This leads to all sorts of pranks and high jinxes, often at the expense of one of the junior partners, a red-headed woman whom everyone dislikes.
The partners themselves are a controversial bunch, one of the senior partners regularly crashing his car and getting let off because he has lots of connections with powerful people; another senior partner regularly talks to his office plants; and a junior partner who is best friends with a notorious paedophile.
Meghan will play an office manager who is very rude to her staff, and makes them cry a lot, but really has a heart of gold, and in her spare time, gives bananas to prostitutes.
Netflix insisted that the show is “absolutely not based on the Royal Family”.
