Last night, an emotional Prince Charles fled from a gay club in the heart of London's Soho, after declaring that he wanted to be Queen.
The Prince had been enjoying a night out with friends in the popular nightspot 'GAY', when the incident occurred.
"Charles had been in high spirits all night," said one eyewitness, "He had got through a fair few bottles of champagne and was beginning to get a bit rowdy."
During a 'Mr lovely bum' competition, the Prince was asked to decide upon the winner and hand them a sash and some roses.
"It was obvious that the Prince was drunk, he was unsteady on his feet and appeared to have wet himself." said supercamp comedian Julian Clary, who was at the club, "Suddenly, he jumped on the stage, pulled off his wedding ring and threw it into the crowd."
Several witnesses claim that Charles then shouted, 'I've never loved Chlamydia.....I just want to be Queen' before bursting into tears and running towards the exit.
Rumours about the Prince's sexuality had been circulating in royal circles, particularly after he dumped stunning blonde, Diana, and shacked up with horse-faced boiler, Chlamydia.
This recent incident, however, has really set the upper crust tongues wagging and could permanently damage the Prince's 'lady's-man' image.
