The war of words between top writers Duff and Breeze is stepping up a gear today.
Duff recently released on Police bail over alleged fanny peppering, is maintaining his innocence saying that he is the victim of a coordinated smear campaign. He told himself:
"I know who's behind this! It's that giloot Breeze that's who. And for the record I don't have one eye. This eye-patch is merely just me paying homage to my favourite band of all time - Dr Who and the Medicine Show.
As for fannies? Well it's just not true. Look thorough my story archive and you'll find precious little mention of women's things in my stuff. No sir, vagina's just aren't my thing"
Spoof owners, the Lowton brothers, are believed to be going to act as character witnesses for Duff if the trumped up charges make it to a court of law and in return, instead of working for nothing, Duff is rumoured to have agreed to pay The Spoof for all future articles he posts. Paul Lowton comments:
"It's sad to see two of my main men slogging it out, but hey? It sells and that's what it's all about"
Matt 'Crusty' Morgan and a Mr 'Monkey' Woods, both of whom have rocketed to the top of The Spoof's ratings tree recently, were both keeping silent and neither would be drawn on the issue.
