Online humour sites which showcase the work and talent of casual hobby comedians, has been plagued with hits from flagging comedians and writers it was revealed.

A source has revealed that when analysing the monthly statistics for one site, a now lesser known comic that once had the pick of the airwaves has logged on some 3200 times in a week.

Writers are urged to look out for their work appearing on late night radio shows and satellite channels.

A spokesman for The Spoof, remarked "It's not funny. So far it is believed that Artists such as Les Dennis and the infamous Barrymore have been cutting and pasting relentlessly in a bid to save their careers."

It seems the secret of great comedy is not timing as has often been thought, but cunning and stealth.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
