With the 2018 World Cup just a few days away in Russia The BBC are bringing back Paul the Octopus to predict the results. Well not exactly the original Paul but his Great, Great, Great Grandson also called Paul and who has inherited his ancestor's canny knack of prediction.
The original Paul came to prominence first at the 2008 Euro Championships in Austria and Switzerland when he predicted the results. He was brought back in 2010 for the World Cup in South Africa and once again was successful predicting the results of 12 out of 14 matches a success rate of 86%.
Paul who died in 2010 has passed his talent down to his Great, Great, Great Grandson Director General of the BBC Tony Hall said "We are negotiating with Paul's agent and hope to have him replace Gary Lineker as host of our flagship football programme during the World Cup,
