John Twitingdale, Minister for Media and other sports, has been tied up with business and couldn't find time to speak to our political commentator John Witt about some of the sports he finds attractive.
I was sent a missive from Twitingdale's secretary, pointing out that his private sporting life was for him and nobody else's.
However, Witt was not taking this lack of response lying down. He waited outside Twit's house and bent the Minister's ear when he appeared.
The discussion went thus:
Witt - Minister, what are you doing to promote wrestling as a sport women can enjoy.
Twit - Wrestling in mud for women is my top priority.
Witt - So you believe in women being the equals of men in sport?
Twit - No. They are superior. I want to see the day when men and women wrestle together.
