The Generals of Myanmar (formerly called Burma when the Generals were in power) have suffered a humiliating defeat by the supporters of 66 year old Hang Sang Corbyn.
British Prime Minister David Cameron welcomed the news saying 'It is evident that rule by the Generals in a totally undemocratic manner has been rightly cast aside by the brave people of Myanmar. Hang Sang Corbyn has put the General back where they should be - in the barracks a long way from power.'
Hang Sang Corbyn had been written off as a no hoper by many, few realising that the desire for democracy was stronger than the threats of the military.
'Let us by thankful' Cameron announced to a cheering House of Commons 'that in Britain the chances of Generals successfully telling us all what to do are remote indeed.'
