The new Tory think tank AIR's proposal to tax the usage of nitrogen, oxygen, and argon for all UK residents has now been published. Apparently it could raise £650,000,000 at a tenner per head of population annually and pull the party out of the financial doldrums.
The tax which will be a breath of fresh air to UK Government whose national deficit is completely spiralling out of control (and laughed at by the IMF) will help to pay for the bank's bailouts in 2008.
The volumetric capacity of Britain's air has been greatly improved since the 1960's and since clearing the atmosphere of weighted CO2 emissions, the government now see it as a chance to claw back some of the green cost to this country.
Mr Cameron was interviewed in the back garden of number ten and had this to say about AIR' s proposal, 'We did it to water, what's wrong with air? Have you any idea the real costs of better air quality. In fact we intend to privatise it at our earliest opportunity'.
City experts are reported as being in a frenzied euphoric mood at the prospect of privatising AIR.
