A moody shot of new Paxman

After his interview with comedian Russell Brand, heavyweight BBC political presenter Jeremey Paxman has undergone a startling transformation in the past week.

In the Newsnight interview between the two Russell fireBrand called for revolution and accurately decried the current political system as deceitful and elitist, in the face of sceptical criticism from Jeremy 2Paxman, including the bizarre accusation that Brand had no right to an opinion because he does not vote. Which is like saying someone has no right to washing their self if they don't swim.

Paxman's ego was harmed at another man being so powerfully righteous and automatically contested everything Brand said. However it is believed that on reflection it occurred to him that he was the Establishment figure and therefore total bastard perpetuating the current status quo where he routinely plays the people's own total bastard to politicians.

Since the interview Paxman has cultivated a beard and appeared on Graham Norton's chat show where he suddenly adopted much of Brand's disillusioned opinion on the political process, proclaiming that he "didn't vote" either. This along with exhibiting smiles and laughter and generally liberal attitude.

According to sources the epiphany is complete as Paxman is now walking around in sandals and full-length gown wearing beads and a bandana listening to Public Enemy and Rage Against the Machine.

Russell Brand is being lined up to replace Paxman as Newsnight anchor as the latter chases after Katy Perry, and every other girl in the whole world.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
