Shale gas extraction through fracking has caused a lot of concern for residents in areas where drilling for shale gas has been given the go-ahead.
Freckleton, a village on The Fylde near Preston in Lancashire has been the latest victim of Cuadrilla's plans to drill for shale gas and with so many rigs being erected around the village; Royal Mail has reported many items of post being addressed with "Frackleton" instead of its original name.
Speaking to Mr Rock, a member of an anti-fracking group F-OFF (Fighting Off Fylde's Fracking) he said that all residents have been encouraged to use Frackleton instead of Freckleton so that it will get more attention, and the seriousness of what damage fracking will do to nearby communities.
Mr Hardman, a member of the executive board for Cuadrilla said that the company name is often misspelt as Quadrilla and he wouldn't worry about one letter, but then he used to be a wanker in the city.
