Liverpool, UK. In emerging news here, authorities have awoken this foggy morning to discover that the famous Blackpool Tower, designed in the form of Paris' Eiffel Tower, has been stolen and cannot be located.
Police are amazed that such a massive landmark as the tower could have been dismantled in one evening and secreted away. "It is a thing to be gob smacked about," said the Chief Constable for the area, PC Arthur Brain. "Perhaps, the perpetrators had some reason for taking it. Maybe they wanted to use it as clothes hoist" he added. He urged anybody who's seen anything suspicious to call the Police. "Oh, and if you saw somebody driving off with a large tower in their truck, give us a ring."
Other people suggest that other worldly parties may be responsible. "Eihh, its got to be the work of the Darleks" said one local. "If you ask me it, its the Joker and his gang of marauding thieves" said another.
Whatever happens, the thieves will be caught because CRIME DOESN'T PAY!!!
