A teacher who shouted 'STOP IT' to a pupil was sacked from the school she had been teaching and was given a 12 month prison sentence.
Jane Harding, 47, was told by a Liverpool Court that just because the pupil was dealing drugs on school premises it didn't give her the right to talk to the individual in that manner.
The pupil who cannot be named for legal reasons was at court and was sticking her tongue out to Mrs Harding right through the trial.
After the trial the Judge told the Court "let this be a lesson to every teacher in the country and should act as a deterrent".
