The UK is going bonkers for brunch according to a new survey.
42% of Brits no longer eat breakfast while a staggering 98% have taken up the mid-morning meal instead to save time.
Kate Tin of Durex who ran the poll explained the findings 'People no longer have the time for brekkie. Cereal takes 4.57 minutes to eat, toast 3.24 mins and pop tarts a staggering 7.34 mins (1.54 cold). What we found was most prefer brunch as it kills two meals in one and stops the chore of eating which many find boring'.
The results are a stark warning and come off the back of data last week which suggested Britain's obese are not as fat as they once were. This latest survey could see the UK lose its coveted 2nd place in the World's fattest behind the rotund Americans.
