News has leaked out that Aresene Wenger, manager of Arsenal FC and Kenny Dalglish, manager of Liverpool FC have come up with a unique way of 'merging' teams.
This has never been done in the history of football and this upcoming season will determine if managers will ever be allowed to this again in the future.
The two managers intend to put the names of all players into a tombola barrel, toss a coin for who picks first and then, alternately pull a name of the barrel until all players are accounted for.
Money will NOT be a factor, the only problem they foresee is that one team manager may get ALL of the goalkeepers and one might get all of the strikers.
Apparently they feel that there is enough time, before the season begins, to retrain some players into playing in new positions.
Other Managers will be keeping a watchful eye on the outcome of this 'experiment' and all eyes will be on the NEW Arsenal and Liverpool teams when the season gets underway.
Incidentally, players will have no say in this matter.
