Saturday as a sad day for fans of Aberdeen football club, as the team has once again fallen from its customary top spot in Scottish football in the first gameweek.
Aberdeen always seem to find themselves in the Champions League spot before a ball is kicked, for some unknown reason, but after a dull 0-0 draw with St. Johnstone, they found themselves crashing and burning like a badly written metaphor.......
Manager Craig Brown spoke to intrepid and delectable reporter Taribo West in a post match interview.
"I don't know why we do so well before a ball is kicked. But as soon as we get out on the field, the pressure of being top of the league seems to get to us and we just plummet like a stone."
After suggestions that Aberdeen are only top due to alphabetical order, Brown went on the attack saying, "The alphabet has no order, not in my alphabetti spaghetti anyway. I've never heard such rubbish in my life."
More to follow when Aldershot top the Prem.
