Scotland boss Craig Levein has announced his squad for the upcoming Carling Nations Cup games.
Scotland play Wales and Northern Ireland on May 25th and 29th respectively and the former Dundee United manager has used the opportunity to include 2 more previously unknowns in the 20 strong pool.
Celtic reserve winger James Forrest and newly promoted Norwich City's right back Russell Martin are the latest in a long line of "who's ?" given Scotland caps by Levein, Peterborough striker Craig Mikhail-Smith having been given his debut in the friendly against Brazil in March.
"I have always believed in keeping the national squad fresh so I'm delighted to continue that tradition by including another couple of players nobody has ever heard of.
It keeps the other players on their toes as none of the established squad members want to lose their place to an unknown".
Levein is understood to have a few more surprises up his sleeve in the event of anyone dropping out through injury. Rumour has it that he attended the Brechin-Cowdenbeath second leg play off fixture last week.
