Tiger Woods' agent says there is no link between the neck injury that forced him to pull out of the Players Championship and the car crash he had in 2009.
The 14-time major champion was admitted to hospital after the crash and was out of action for five months because of a damaging sex scandal.
When asked if his neck problem was related to the crash, Woods' agent Dwight Beckenhacker the Third said there was "zero connection, absolutely zero". He went on "....actually, my client is the first celebrity to be diagnosed with a relatively new medical condition called 21st Centuryitis.
Amongst other things, the main symptoms are Inflamed Public Opinion, Strained Media Relations, Slipped Ratings, leading to Haemorrhaging of Sponsorship Deals, Dislocated Private Life and Massively Bruised Ego".
