Tins of sardines and barrels of oil, will win the FIFA delegates over!

Port Stanley, Falkland Islands - With Qatar winning the 2022 bid, a nation state that has never qualified for the footballing world cup finals in FIFAs 80 history, it means that the Falkland Islands has a chance to win.

With FIFA hell bent on taking football to new lands and the lack of stadium being not a hindrance to successful bids, the Falklands Islands must fit the bill.

International stadiums can be built at:

Port Stanley,
Bluff Cove.
Goose Green.
Walker Green.
Fox Bay Village.
Port Edgar Settlement.
Dyle Island.
Port Stephens.
Cape Orford.
Weddell Island.
Danson Harbour.
Speedwell Island.

The road infrastructure would be upgraded and an inter-rail link would also be routed too. Another international airport would be built on the Eastern Island as well.

Condos would be built at the stadium sites to house the supporters and international media.

FIFA representatives would be 'persuaded' to vote for the bid by giving tins of sardines and barrels of oil.

Harry Redknapp would head the delegation, with his number two being the super model Jordan, who Harry identified could have made the difference in England's failed 2018 bid, if she had been employed.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
