Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been photographed literally walking United veteran and former captain, Gary Neville.
The Red Devils manager was spotted by onlookers walking Neville across an exclusive golf course in Cheshire, as if he were a dog.
One man present said,"It was unbelievable, Gary Neville was wearing next to nothing and scampering across the grass like a terrier".
Another man said, "Ferguson was briskly walkling with Gary on a lead. Neville was visably upset, he'd been crying and it looked like he had been wearing mascara. I think they'd been arguing".
It has also been alleged that Neville had cigarette burns on his back, chest, inner leg and feet.
It has often been joked by rival fans that Neville plays the role of, 'faithful lapdog' due to his loyalty to club and manager.
Sources have told us that his father, Neville Neville and brother Phillip Neville are deeply concerned by Garys recent eratic behaviour and failure to attend family meetings.
Everton player and brother Phil told us, "Gary hasn't missed a family meeting.....ever".
Neville is expected to miss United's next fixture away at Blackpool, as he is suffering with a new injury. Manchester United have yet to release details of the injury.
