Audley Harrison has insisted he will seal his position as one of the greatest boxers of all time when he steps into the ring next week.
Harrison, who has been criticised in the past for choosing unchallenging fights, will face a 63-year-old homeless man known only as Bill in what he calls "the biggest professional challenge" of his career.
The two had met only once previously, when Harrison gave Bill some loose change towards a can of White Lightning cider. However, Harrison insisted there would be no such kindness when the two meet in the ring.
"I've got a lot of respect for Bill," said Harrison "he's from the streets and although I have never seen him fight, I have no doubt he will be the toughest opponent I have ever faced".
At the press conference, Bill insisted he had never raised a fist in anger, was a committed pacifist and would refuse to hit Harrison under any circumstances. Nevertheless, Bill has started as favourites with the bookies.
