Young Boys of Bern delivered a stiff example to Spurs mid week who initially thought they could sneak a quick result away from home. Spur's Tom Huddleston admitted today that they were left exposed at the back and therefore well and truly shafted by the Young Boys.
'Early reports told us the Young Boys would be a soft touch, however quite the reverse,' said Tom. 'For all their inexperience they pounded our rear time and time again, proving their stamina was never in doubt. When the Boys scored early they gushed with enthusiasm and it wasn't long before they claimed a second Spurs hole, I mean goal.'
After some 20 odd minutes the Boys showed us some impressive skill and it wasn't long before they claimed a third. At this point it was clear many of the Spurs team just wanted to go home, but they dug deep and returned the favour showing the Boys they could give as much as they took.
No wonder the team played so bad the following evening!
