Fictitious League 9' Easy-To-Dunk Hoop

The Spoof hoops team, co-owned by Madonna and Barbara Streisand, edged out the Onion Peals 95 ½ to 93 to take the lead in the Eastern Fictitious League.

LaEdgar Rice scored the game winning 3 ½ points (Fictitious league 3 ½ from half-court or farther) and had a game high 34 ½ points. Jonas 'Preppy' Jefferson led the Peals with 22 points. Both teams had good representation from the bench with 10 players scoring 4 ½ points or more.

The Spoof started slowly and cold and was behind 40 to 46 at half time. Marcus OhOh sparked the Spoofs in the 3rd quarter by scoring all of his 18 points while the Peals were limited to 2 points. Roadblock Silas denied the Peals again and again and had 14 rebounds overall. Walt Billton, Spoof center, was strong throughout the game and had a season best triple single 9-9-9.

The Spoof is now 2 games behind the Western League Tucson Tarantulas and has synched a playoff berth.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
