Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has crashed a second car in as many days.
It appears that on this occasion it was the inclement weather to blame, causing him to write off his £12,000 Skoda Favourit Cosworth in the driveway of his home.
He was getting ready to turn in for football practice and because of the bad weather mistakenly put his car in reverse, sending it through his double garage door and into the kitchen of his two-up, twenty-seven down mansionette in south Manchester.
He was said to be devastated, as he had intended to attend the Wythenshawe car boot sale on Sunday with a pile of copies of "The Wrestler" and "Slumdog Millionaire" DVD's, and the Skoda takes all his gear and trestle table effortlessly.
"It looks like I'll have to take the Bentley, and just make sure I park it the right way round so I don't end up selling the engine like Wayne Rooney did last year" the shaken, but not stirred, football star revealed.
