The Iran government has said that it has forbidden the Iran Olympic team to travel to the Olympic Games event in China because of the unfair pressure America is giving it.
The USA government and UK government have told Iran it "must not enrich any more uranium" which is used to make nuclear weapons so that Israel can be destroyed. But Iran wants very much to destroy Israel!
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told all the journalists this morning that the team cant go because President Bush is being unfair regarding Irans nuclear weapons programme. He said
"If America can have nuclear weapons why Iran cannot have them? Its not sportsmanlike. If he is not sportsmanlike then we will not be sportsmanlike. Our team will stay at home and build weapons instead."
