LOS ANGELES (Reuterus) - Thanks to the deep pockets of LA Galaxy fan and Herbalife CEO, Michael O. Johnson, a favorite tune sung by football fans throughout the world now follows David Beckham wherever he goes in this smoggy southern California metropolis.
The 226-voice-strong Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles will indefinitely serenade Posh, Becks and their three sons with a sprightly rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" (a song that first became the popular anthem of Liverpool Football Club back in the sixties).
"The logistics for this are more complex than for most presidential Secret Service operations, but I felt that I owed it to disappointed fans," said Mr. Johnson. "Whether it's on their way to the grocery store or the hairdresser, the Beckham's will constantly be reminded of the half-a-million pounds per week that we are paying for him to sit out the season."
Even the normally cut-throat LAPD (Los Angeles Paparazzi Diocese) has publicly called the act 'cruel' and 'unusual' punishment.
