In France as human riders test positive for drugs and drop like flies, it is a dog that is now standing head and tails above the rest. "GiGi" as she is known is part of the Jean Le Fete racing team and the only dog to ever make it this far in the Tour de France.
Team Captain D'artagnon Lemond' said, "She is very strong in the hills and if a cat gets in front of her you don't want to be on the same road! Still I am surprised she make it this far without stopping to chase another animal, she must really be enjoying it. I think she has a very good chance, she doesn't need drugs to win, just maybe her rabies shot and worm medicine."
Other riders have complained about GiGi, "She messes on the road as she rides," said Rasmussen, "She pee right in front of me yesterday, I nearly went off a cliff!"
If GiGi hangs on to win the Tour, she would be the first Frenchman...er dog to win in over a decade.
