SAN FRANCISCO - (Sports Satire) - The World Champion Golden State Warriors organization and their millions of fans are simply ecstatic at the news that has just been put out by the team's majority owner Joseph Stevens Lacob.
Lacob said that after meeting with his super star player at The Slam Dunk Lounge in Chinatown, Curry has decided to turn down the fabulous offer that he had received to leave the Warriors and join the Boston Celtics.
Curry said that he came very close to joining the Celtics after being offered twice the salary he makes with Golden State.
Lacob said that he would double his salary plus give him 10,000 shares in Diet Dr. Pepper and 20,000 in McDonalds
Curry, who the great Michael Jordan calls the best player in the NBA, pointed out that he was thrilled that Celtics owner Wycliffe "Moneybags" Grousbeck also offered to throw in a percentage of his ownership in the Boston Bean Co. and his very popular seafood restaurant Lobsters "R" Us.
Meanwhile Curry's wife Ayesha told the sports media, that they love the Left Coast even though she is extremely afraid of earthquakes, heavy traffic, mudslides, smog, wine beetles, forest fires, and Los Angeles Laker fans.
