PHILADELPHIA – Sports Mirror is reporting that Manchester United Captain Harry Mcguire has just been offered a one-year contract to become the kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles.
If the 6 foot 4 inch tall Mcguire signs with the Eagles he will become the highest paid kicker in the entire NFL. The figure that the Eagles have offered him is $5.2 million.
Mcguire talked to a reporter with Sports Mirror and said that for the past week he has spent most of his free time in his backyard practicing kicking field goals, extra point after attempts, and kickoffs.
The English super star who wears number 5, expressed that he has even hit a couple of 60 yard field goals. He smiled and said, “I have to say that 60 yards is quite a bloomin’ distance innit?"
IN CLOSING – The NFL record for the longest field goal ever kicked in a game is 64 yards. And the Eagles organization is salivating at the thought of Mcguire possibly breaking that record.
