Shoppers at Manchester's Trafford Centre retail complex became excited this afternoon, after former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, was seen with his wife, shopping for bed linen.
He was also carrying some towels and two cushions.
Pochettino, 47, has been seen in various locations around the city this week, and rumours, fuelled by the kind of purchases he and his wife had made, were rife that he was about to be announced as the new Manchester United manager.
When our reporter caught up with them, the Pochettinos had bought a full bedding set from Marks & Spencer for £56.99, two cushions for £19.99 each at Selfridges, and a set of towels for £32.99 from John Lewis.
Mrs. P had also had a look in Zara, and wanted to know if there was a Brentford Nylons, as she needed to look for some curtains.
They'd wanted to get a bite to eat, but couldn't seem to find a Greggs.
An announcement from Old Trafford on the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected soon.
